Dec. 23rd UPDATE to Family Rental Policy

On Tuesday, December 22nd, Governor Scott issued updated guidance for the statewide restrictions on social gathering. The full text of the governor’s announcement is available online at https://governor.vermont.gov/press-release/holidaygathering

Per this update, between the dates of December 23rd and January 2nd, the state will allow a household to gather with one other trusted household. The state does still require all participants of these gatherings to wear masks and maintain social distancing.

As a result of this update, Friends of Middlebury Hockey is updating the policy for our Private Family Rental program. A family that reserves a private family session may choose to share their session with one trusted household. Compliance with the masking and social distancing rules will be the responsibility of the household that made the reservation. And, please note that reservation requests will continue to be available to Vermont households only.

The cost for single household family rentals will stay at a minimum donation of $50 per 1 hour session. For shared sessions between two households, the rental rate will be a minimum donation of $75 per 1 hour session.

If you have already booked a private family rental and would like to share that session with another family, please make sure to reflect the increased cost when you submit your payment via either cash/check at MSC or via PayPal using the button below.
