Memorial Sports Center was proud to support Homeward Bound’s 2017 Woofstock Walk for the Animals event. The September 9th event raised funds to support Homeward Bound’s mission to, “educate the community and improve the lives of animals, alleviate their suffering, and elevate their status in society”. With registration for the event taking place at Memorial Sports Center, the participants then enjoyed a music and fun-filled walk through downtown Middlebury. The day ended with a “doggie-dip” in the town pool.
We’re grateful to Homeward Bound for their compassionate work on behalf of Addison County’s furry friends, as their efforts span animal rescue, a Cruelty Response Program, Lost and Found Services, and Humane Education.
