The Earle Thompson Memorial Scholarship is presented on behalf of the Friends of Middlebury Hockey and the Thompson family. Earle was an integral part of one of Middlebury High School’s first Varsity Hockey teams. He was charismatic, passionate, positive, and he had a great passion for life. Upon his death in 2008 the family set up a scholarship in his name which goes to a graduating senior who shows academic promise and who is dedicated to the sport Earle so loved. We’re proud to announce that the 2021-22 recipient of this award is Edwin Hodde.
