The tournament, played once again at Neshobe Golf Course in Brandon VT, is our annual event that brings together friends from through the Middlebury hockey community. Special thanks go out this year to Dan McIntosh, who has long coordinated the tournament for Friends of Middlebury Hockey. Under Dan’s leadership we had another great turnout and raised $5,886 dollars to support community activities at Middlebury’s Memorial Sports Center and an additional $1,086 for the Middlebury High School girls hockey team. This will be Dan’s final year coordinating the tournament and we thank him very much for his dedication to the Friends of Middlebury Hockey, Memorial Sports Center, and our extended hockey community.
And, as always, special thanks also go to Matt Brush and the volunteers from the Middlebury High School girls hockey team. This event depends on folks like Matt every year and he never lets us down.
